Sweet Nothings

“I’m not sure that will fit inside me,” I blabber out.

“Kinsley, babe, you’re a goof. I promise we’ll go as slow as possible, but I promise I’ll fit,” and with that I crawl towards him on hands and knees. Luke walks towards me, as I lower myself to where my mouth meets his cock.

He slowly feeds me the tip of his shaft, licking the pre cum that’s falling at the tip. I savor him, much like he did me.

Lavishing him with my tongue until he’s glistening wet, Luke’s hands are fisted in my hair. I take this as my cue to really work his length into my mouth, I want to make him feel as good as he made me feel. To have him lose his mind, the way my mind was lost in the euphoria of coming.

“Fuck, you keep doing that Kinsley, and I’m going to come down your pretty throat,” he moans.

I double up on my efforts, wanting to taste him. Luke’s body starts to move along with my own, I bring my hand up to cup his balls in the palm of my hand.

That’s when I feel it happen, he comes down my throat, and I drink it down.

Luke and I are breathless when we pull apart. “I’m the luckiest damn man on earth,” Luke states.

“I think I’m pretty lucky myself too.”

Dinner is forgotten, work is the least of our concerns. Luke throws the sheets and comforter off the bed. We both climb inside, both of us lay in each other’s arms and drift off to sleep.

Here in Luke’s arms, it’s where I was always meant to be.

Dinner never happened last night, but I definitely had my dessert. It’s early the next morning, way too early for me to be up. But, that doesn’t stop me from getting up and making Kinsley breakfast.

She doesn’t move or make a sound when I get up and out of bed, Kinsley’s been killing herself at Topped Off. It shows right now, or maybe it’s my bed that has her sleeping peacefully.

I walk downstairs, smirking at our antics last night, but she’s not wrong. This place needs life, more so now than ever.

Flipping the switch to the on position for the coffee maker, so it’ll warm up while I make our breakfast of steak and eggs. Part of me feels bad that we missed dinner but fuck, the memories of last night are playing on repeat already.

I pull out everything I need for breakfast hoping like hell to get it all done and plated before Kinsley wakes up. I’d like to feed her breakfast in bed, if possible.

Turning the television on low to watch the morning news while I cook, I get lost in what I’m doing and it doesn’t take long until the steaks are ready, I whip up the eggs while they’re resting. When everything is done, I plate our breakfast and bring it to Kinsley.

I should have really thought about this plan. I have one plate for us to share and one mug of coffee, hers. I know she’d never drink my black coffee, much like I’d never drink her sugar sweet one.

Kinsley is still asleep when I walk into the bedroom. She’s kicked off the sheets after I’ve left and her body is on full display for me.

Placing the plate and coffee mug on the nightstand, I wake her up with my mouth on one nipple, my hand on the other nipple. Manipulating both at one time, my eyes never leave her face, watching as she slowly comes awake.

The smile that takes over her face is soft, I make my way up her body to give her the kiss I need.

She’s hesitant at first, as if morning breath would ever stop me from kissing her. I nip at her lip until she moans, and then my tongue duals with hers until she’s softer than ever before.

“I like you waking up in my bed,” I tell her after our kiss is finished.

“I do too, your bed is amazing,” a smile is on her face.

“Are you using me for my bed?” I joke.

“Maybe, but I’ll never tell,” Kinsley winks, slowly sitting up. I groan, “If you don’t cover up, neither of us will leave today.”

“Can we take a rain check? I have Sunday off, for the first time in years,” she states.

“You got it, let’s eat breakfast and start our day,” I grab the plate and feed her and myself. We take our time until we’re both needing to leave for work.

I’m on cloud nine the rest of the day, floating here and there. Cleaning, making coffee, and I even did some paperwork while sitting at one of the tables we keep for our customers.

“Okay, where is Kinsley and what have you done with her,” my head tips up in a smile when it hears Sloane’s voice.

“Do I know you? I think my eyes are deceiving me, is that Sloane or a ghost in front of me?” I volley back, standing up from my seat I greet her with arms wide open.

“It’s been forever, we must, must, must do a girls day, soon. I mean that is, if I can rip you away from here and your handsome beau,” Sloane is laughing as she says it. She’s one to talk, she lives, eats, and breathes her bakery.

“Want to do it next weekend? After Valentine’s Day, I have a feeling both of us will be non-stop busy until then,” her more than me. The shop closes at a decent time, her bakery though, It’s open from sunrise to sunset it seems.

“Yeah, I already have orders up to my eyeballs,” Sloane rolls her eyes.

“Do you need help?” I offer already mentally rearranging my schedule to see when I can help her.

“Nah, I have it all taken care of. I’ll let you know if things change though. Speaking of, I have your order in my van,” she replies.

“Let’s go, I’m so excited to see what you brought this week!” I exclaim.

“It’s very red and pink, I’ll tell you that,” she laughs. I walk beside her, I wasn’t kidding when I said I was excited. Sloane brings in new things all the time, and they’re so good. I can barely keep them on the shelf somedays.

“Tell me about Luke,” she asks as we work together, we shoot the shit while we both work. I tell her all about Luke, leaving out the more intimate details. I am not kissing and telling, no way, no how. Not to mention, I know Luke wouldn’t be impressed either.

“I’m happy for you, babe,” Sloane states.

“I am too, it should seem too much, too soon. Yet it feels like we’ve known each other a lifetime.”

“Then go with the flow, just don’t forget about me when you’re off getting married,” she says with a chuckle.

“As if I ever could, you’ll be standing right there beside me, if that ever happens.”

When we finish stocking the display case, I make us both a cup of coffee and we talk for a few more minutes until Sloane has to leave.

Sitting behind my desk at the office, I’m looking over Nathaniel’s case. Trying not to roll my eyes, I’ve already found one too many loopholes. This case will be cut and dry, I close the case file.

I let out a sigh and call Michelle, my secretary. Not really wanting to make this phone call, but knowing I have to, “Michelle, can you get Nathaniel on the phone?” I ask.

“Sure thing, give me one minute and I’ll send it through,” she replies.

In under a minute, Michelle has Nathaniel on the phone.

“Luke,” Nathaniel grunts into the phone.

I muster up all the professionalism I can, “Hello Nathaniel, I had a chance to go through the contract. There’s a lot of minor things we need to fix, but I have my notes ready to send back. I can have Michelle email you to see if you like them, and if everything looks okay, we’ll get them sent back.”

  “That’ll do,” he responds.

“I’ll have her do it today. Have a good day, Nathaniel,” this is the shit I don’t like dealing with. One of my junior associates could have taken on this bullshit along with this client.

“Okay,” Nathaniel says and then clicks off the phone.

“That little shit is a piece of work,” I mumble out loud.

“You don’t know the half of it,” Michelle says, walking into my office.

“Hopefully we get this out of the way and won’t hear from him agai
n. If my father calls and asks for a favor, tell him I moved to Saturn. This has been a clusterfuck in itself,” I grumble.

“Will do, do you have the contract? I’ll get it all typed out and sent to “Nathaniel”” she air quotes. Michelle and my mother are around the same age, but where my mom is docile, Michelle takes no shit. Not even from me.

“Yeah, it’s right here. It’s all small stuff. Thank you for taking care of this. I know you have other responsibilities.”

“No problem, just remember this when I request vacation time,” she laughs.

“Don’t get too excited, I may say no.”

“Yeah right, don’t make me call Bea. You know she’ll help me team up against you,” she threatens.

“Pulling out the big guns with my mom, huh? I’ll remember that,” I reply, knowing Michelle she’ll be calling my mother next.

That does have me thinking, maybe if I ask Kate for help, she’ll watch over the shop for a couple of days. I think a vacation away for a while will be just the surprise to knock Kinsley off her feet.

“Go on, get out of here,” Kate pushes me out of the door. It’s the day before Valentine’s Day and I have no idea what’s going on, well besides Luke telling me to pack an overnight bag.

“Call me if you have any issues. I really hate to leave you on a holiday,” I tell her.

“We’ll all be fine. Mike and Josiah will be here all afternoon. You’ve done this on your own all the time. One day won’t kill me,” she promises.

“You have Luke’s and Sloane’s number just in case, right?”

“Yes, now go!” she tells me.

I do so with hesitancy, wishing that Luke would have let us celebrate this weekend, but I also am kind of excited too.

Going upstairs, I get everything out I’ll need for the two nights we’ll be away. I throw everything in my bag, because Luke will be here soon.

Plus, I probably spent longer than I should have downstairs, not wanting to leave Kate until the last possible minute.

“Kinsley,” Luke says coming from the front of my apartment.

“In here,” I’m just throwing my toiletries in my bag before zipping it up.

“Kinsley, damn it woman. I told you not to leave that door unlocked,” he grumbles, but takes me in his arms, kissing me silly.

“I only left it unlocked a few minutes,” I say before I dive back into his kiss. My hands go under Luke’s shirt, wanting to feel his warm skin.

“Don’t care, lock the door. We’ll make each other a set of spare keys,” he counters.

“You don’t have to. I have a spare key in the kitchen.”

“Glad we could come to a compromise, are you ready?” he asks.

“Yes, but it would be really nice if you told me where we were going though,” I try to squeeze the information from Luke.

“Nice try, but you’ll know soon enough,” a small smile plays on his face.

He grabs my bag, I take my purse, and follow him out the door. He takes my keys, making sure my door is locked.

“I’m already tired of this back and forth, you should just move in with me already,” he states.

“Wait, what? Are you asking me to move in with you?” I question.

His hand on my lower back as we walk down the stairs, “Not asking, more like stating you should.”

“Hmm…maybe I will, but Luke, my color comes with me,” I tell him.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” I guess I’m moving in with Luke, my heart beats even faster. Making a home with him, there would be nothing better.

Part of me wanted to blindfold Kinsley before we boarded on the private jet I secured for us, but she’d figure it out as soon as the engines started.

Instead I pull up to the small airport, parking, and then looking at Kinsley. There’s a look of shock on her face.

“Luke, what are we doing?” she asks.

“It’s a short flight, is that okay?”

“Yes, but oh my goodness. I wasn’t expecting this,” the shock is still in her voice.

I get out of the SUV, help Kinsley out, and then grab our bags.

“I’ll get those Mr. Drake,” the steward tells me, I hand them over. We’re only going a couple hours away. Just a short trip to Seaside in Florida.

Kinsley has told me how much she loves being surrounded by the water, my house being on a lake helps, but I know the beach will be just as fun.

  “Thank you,” I tell him.

  “Ready Kinsley?”

“Am I ever, you have me on the edge of my seat wanting to know where we’re going,” I can see the unsettledness in her body. I know just what to do to calm her nerves too.

As soon as we’re in the air, I’m hoping to help her relax in all the right ways.

We make our way inside, take our seat, and Kinsley whispers into my ear, “I still can’t believe we’re going away.”

“Believe it, this won’t be our last one either. Our future is in the palm of our hands,” I respond.

My hand finds hers, while we wait for the crew to get everything ready on the plane.

“I can’t wait to make more memories with you. In just the short amount of time we’ve been together, my life has been ten times better than it ever has been,” she sighs, Kinsley’s head is on my shoulder.

I kiss the top of her head, “It really has been. I’m so glad you wrote me those sweet nothings and continue to do so. If not for you, I’d still be working all day and night, not giving a damn about today or the next day,” I declare.

“Thank you, Luke. Thank you for everything,” she lifts her head up, and I take that as my opportunity to kiss her. We’re lost in our own moment until we hear a throat being cleared.

“We’re preparing to take off, if you could please buckle your seatbelts,” the steward says and then leaves.

“Whoops,” I say, we both buckle up, laughing the whole time.

Yesterday flew by, and it’s been a whirlwind of activity. Now that today is Valentine’s Day though we’re here in an amazing beachside bungalow on Florida’s coast. Our small town and the chilly weather long forgotten.

Luke and I slid on our bathing suits this morning, and now we’re down at the beach. Luke is drinking a beer, I have a strawberry daiquiri in my hand, and life is good.

“Are you enjoying yourself, baby?” Luke asks, while we’re lying in a cabana the beach rents out.

“I’m having the best time ever,” I respond.

“Then I’ve done my job,” the look he has on his face, the way his eyes skate over my body, it makes me want him right here and right now. Too bad there’s way too many people around.

“Well not yet,” I say saucily.

“Oh, Kinsley, the things I’m going to do to you, just you wait,” he croons.

  “Check, please?” I joke.

“Not yet, don’t you worry. I’m going to have you every way you can imagine this weekend,” Luke’s voice is husky with need.

He watches me as I rub my legs together, trying to quench the need he’s creating inside of me.

“I can’t wait,” I reply, my own voice not sounding like my own.

We spend the rest of the day being beach bums. Luke knew our first day would be half over by the time we got here, but tomorrow he’s got a few things lined up.

Luke’s hands are on me the whole day, with light touches here or there. At one point I have to stand up, “I’m going down to the water, want to join me?”

He follows me, the water is still too cold to fully dive in and play, something I mentioned to Luke that I would love to come back and do during the summer months.

We walk along the beach, our toes in the water, sometimes I’ll run from the water other times I’ll stay as it nips at our heels.

At one point, Luke jokingly picked me up fireman style and I yelled, “Don’t you do it!”
/>
“You don’t want to go swimming with Nemo?” he jokes back.

I don’t let go of his sides, if he throws me in the water, let’s just say he’ll go down with me.

We stay out by the beach, watching the sunset below the water. It was so beautiful to watch, and the best part was watching it with the man I love.

I can’t hold it in, I turn to him. He looks down at me and I let it out, “I love you Luke Drake.”

“God, I love you too, Kinsley Alexander.” Our kiss is soft, sweet, and affectionate.

Kinsley just blew up my dinner plans, I was going to take her out to dinner tonight. Wine and dine her, bring her back here, and take my time making love to her.

Now though, all bets are off. It’s time to finally make her mine, sleeping with her almost every night, having her in every other way besides being deep inside her, it’s been hard as hell.

It’s worth it though, every second, every minute, every hour. She’s worth everything to me.

Picking her up, her legs wrap around my waist, I hurry us to the house, and then to the master bedroom.

She pulls down my board shorts as I untie each of the strings she has wrapped around her delicate as fuck body.

With just four bows to unravel, she’s naked, and waiting for me. Only me.

“You ready for me, Kinsley,” I grunt.

“I was made for you, Luke,” she replies. Thank goodness she’s on birth control. We talked about it after that first night, something about regulating her hormones. To be honest, my mind went blank after she said I could take her bare when the time came.

Kinsley lays down on the bed, “Spread your legs for me,” I demand. When she opens her creamy thighs, my hands find them and hold on, my head bends forward needing a taste of her sweet as fuck pussy.
