When Miller entered her, Ella opened her mouth but knew she couldn’t scream. She felt his powerful leg muscles touch the back of her legs as he guided himself deeper, inch by impressive inch, going right to the hilt of his cock. Then he just held there, leaving Ella completely full. Both hands inched up her body. His right hand up to her shoulder. His left hand moving around to her breast.

“Fuck,” Ella was able to say. “You have no idea…”

  Miller grunted.

He then started to fuck her. He pulled back as gently as he entered her but that was it. The next time he thrust, it was with force. It sent Ella right to the bed. Miller mounted her right there and started to pound at her. Thrusting harder, faster, going deeper than she could ever remember before. Each time he entered her, she felt her body welcoming him, tearing with pleasure, an orgasm that damn near instantly penetrated her entire body, leaving her breathless and quivering for more. His hand squeezed at her shoulder, pulling, wanting her to fuck back at him. Miller moved his left hand down to her ass.

  “Ah, Ella, darling,” Miller groaned.

Ella felt him thickening. He was getting ready to explode inside her. Ella didn’t want to think about the last time she had sex. Or the last time she had been fucked. Really fucked. Just like this. Being thrown to the bed and just ravaged.

There was only one man who could do this… and he was.

“Miller!” Ella cried out as another throbbing orgasm attacked her body.

Miller moved his hand from Ella’s shoulder to her mouth.

“Damn, darling, you have to shut up,” Miller groaned. “Fuck.”

He sped up again. His cock pounding, filling even more.

And then he finally let go.

One deep thrust and Miller’s cock spilled inside Ella. He pressed and held there, lowering his body to hers. Ella felt her pussy clenching at his shaft, sheathing him tight with her body, pulling and demanding every last drop of himself into her. He fucked at her, over and over, grunting each time he did so.

  Then it was all over.

  It was done.

  They were done.

Everything came to a sudden stop.

Slowly, Miller pulled back. That last feeling of him inside made Ella wiggle and bite at the sheets as she had no choice but to scream.

Then he was out of her body.

Ella watched then as Miller grabbed at the covers on the bed, peeling them back. He touched the pillow and looked back at her. From her angle, she saw the muscle rippling down his back, the curve of his beautiful ass, and even a little of the side view of his amazing dick.

  “Here,” he whispered. “Get comfortable.”

  “Miller…”

  He turned and walked away.

Ella tried to move but ended up falling to her knees on the floor. Her legs were parted, gushing, the warm throbbing feeling endless. Ella caught herself not only biting her lip, but touching one of her breasts.

The hunger for more was rampant.

She looked back and saw Miller shut the bathroom door.

The need was rampant, but this was dangerous. Way too fucking dangerous.

  eleven.

Miller gripped the sink and stared at himself in the mirror.

You couldn’t hold back, could you? You stupid fucking asshole.

He looked down at his dick, still throbbing, still mostly hard, still glistening with the sweet wetness from Ella’s sweet body.

He wanted more. He hungered to taste her body. Not just her tender and full breasts, but to savor the sweet flavor between her legs, demanding it be burned into his mind for the rest of his life.

  But it couldn’t happen again.

This was a one time event. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just some shit that had been lingering for years. They never got their chance to really say goodbye. To talk, to fuck, to walk away without worry.

So that fuck had been waiting between them for a long damn time.

Worse than that, it was the best sex Miller could remember having. No matter the women that came through the clubhouse, from strippers to relievers, nothing compared to the body that Ella had. Even post pregnancy, the little extra thickness to her hips, ass, her tits bigger, fuck, it was all beautiful and perfect. There was nothing goddamn wrong with a woman who carried some curves. They were natural and worked to Ella’s advantage.

Miller looked down at the floor. His t-shirt, his leather cut. His jeans were down to his ankles, looking like a damn fool. But he had to hurry away from Ella. If he lingered for another few seconds, he’d be hard again and back inside her again.

After picking up his jeans, he put his shirt and leather cut back on. He then crouched down and gathered up Ella’s clothing. Her shirt. Her bra. He held the bra, his thumb running along the red, lacy undergarment. Miller took a deep breath, gritting his teeth.

He left the bathroom and Ella was in the bed, covers up to her chin. Miller knew she was fucking topless under the blanket.

“Here’s the rest of your clothes,” he said and dropped the shirt and bra on the bed.

“Thanks,” Ella said, her cheeks turning red.

Miller took a seat at the edge of the bed. He made fists and looked to the right, seeing the end of the little bed he’d made for Beck.

What a fucking situation to be in.

  “This is dangerous,” Ella said.

“Yeah, it is. But you have to be safe, darling. Until this all blows over.”

“Nothing is going to blow over,” Ella said.

Miller looked at her. “It’s all going to change.”

  “What’s happening, Miller?”

“What we used to have isn’t there now. He’s changed his mind on things. Instead of talking to the MC about it, he’s formed other alliances. Tried to take out some of us. Attacked and almost killed Nate. He had a judge involved…”

  “Jake?”

  “You knew?”

“They met a lot. I haven’t seen Jake lately. Is he out?”

Miller didn’t respond. He just swallowed.

  “Jesus Christ,” Ella whispered. “He’s…”

“It’s done,” Miller said. “Club business. This is something almost out of my hands, darling. You need to realize that. I’m in a tough spot right now.”

“Yeah, I see that,” Ella said. “Stuck with your ex-girlfriend and her baby.”

Miller laughed. “That part I don’t mind.”

  “No?”

Miller stood from the bed. He stared at Ella, knowing it was still there. It was up to him now to control it. To fight the urge off. To keep Ella safe but keep her at a safe distance. Christ, right now, he could just start peeling the covers down her body.

“That can’t happen again,” Miller said. “That…”

  “I know. Because I’m married.”

“I don’t give a fuck about that. You signed divorce papers. And even if you didn’t, when I see something I want, I take it.”

  Ella’s eyes went wide. “Yeah…”

Miller closed in on the bed and leaned down a little. “Whatever you’re going through, darling, I’m here if you need to talk. I won’t push at you though.” He touched her cheek, right at the swollen spot. “You’ve been through hell tonight.”

  “And heaven,” Ella said.

Their eyes were locked tight. Miller wanted to fucking kiss her so bad. He wanted to get right back at it. Shit, they had years to make up, didn’t they?

  No.

Miller pulled away and collected himself. “I have to go take care of some business. You stay here. Don’t move. I’ll have two prospects outside the door at all times. Nothing is going to happen to you. Or the little guy.”

“Thank you,” Ella said. She reached out and Miller gave her his hand. “I mean it, Miller. I’ve been so scared. I have no idea…”

“Hey, stop,” Miller said. His fingers rubbed the back of her hand. “Just stop for tonight. You need rest. You’re safe here with me. With the MC. We live and die for the patch, ok
ay? And I’m the President of the fucking club. If I tell someone to put their life on the line for you and the kid, they will. So shut your damn eyes and sleep.”

Miller took his hand back and left the room. Going straight to the bar, Miller found two prospects to send back to guard the door. He then ordered up a shot and a beer. The shot was good, the beer cold. Miller pointed to the empty shot glass and he had himself another.

“Whoa,” Gaige said as he approached the bar. “That’s, uh, not going to be good.”

Miller looked at Gaige. He turned the shot glass upside down and slammed it to the bar. “Happy?”

“No,” Gaige said. “We’re at fucking at war with the worst possible enemy. And you brought his goddamn wife and kid into the clubhouse.”

“What did you think I’d do?” Miller growled. “Kick her ass to the curb?”

“Isn’t that what she did to you?”

Miller grabbed Gaige by the neck. He pushed back and Gaige just went for the ride. Nate and Jace grabbed at Miller’s tree trunk arms and pulled.

“Hey, guys,” Jace said. “Come on. Talk it out. It’s too late for this shit.”

“You don’t fucking talk like that,” Miller said to Gaige. “Ever.”

“I’m sorry,” Gaige said. “Tensions are high, bro.”

Miller pushed away from Gaige and shook away the other guys. “Conference room. Now.”

Miller then got his beer and opened the door to the conference room. It was a casual meeting, nobody needing to sit down. No need for the gavel and all the MC formality bullshit right now. This was a time of war and Miller was going to make sure everything was going to keep charging forward.

“First thing I want to know is if the problem out there has been taken care of,” Miller said.

“Yes,” Blaine said. “I took care of what you wanted. Body is buried. Head and cut put out there. I’m sure Coast Road has found it by now.”

“Good,” Miller said. “Be ready for some kind of retaliation.”

  “Think they will?” Nate asked.

“I doubt it,” Gaige said. “They’ll retreat and figure something else out.”

“If they do, we’ll be ready,” Miller said. “They’re the muscle behind Jerry’s push at this.”

“He just wants to deal some drugs and make money, right?” Landon asked.

“That’s what he says,” Miller said.

“Then why fuck with all this?” Landon asked.

“Because he’s greedy,” Blaine said. “Because he knows our MC is stronger than his entire police department. We have more power, more respect, and more ability. We don’t abide by the law.”

  “Truth,” Gaige said.

“This is about protection now,” Miller said. “We have to protect ourselves and this entire club. He’s not going to divide and conquer. We will wait him out and find the right time to strike.”

“How long?” Nate asked. “I know me and Griffin tangled more than once…”

“His death will be avenged,” Miller said. “We all knew Griffin and we all knew he was a patient and anal man.”

  “I love anal,” Blaine said.

  “Christ,” Jace said.

“Taking it?” Gaige asked with a smile.

“Hey,” Blaine said pointing two fingers holding a cigarette at Gaige. “I tried something a few times, okay? Each time was with a woman and she was the one…”

“Goddammit,” Miller said. “I don’t want to hear any of this.” He sighed. “What I’m explaining is that Griffin was a patient and understanding man. A lot of us are hot heads and would have pulled the trigger already. I don’t know what happens after the reaper gets us and our bodies are thrown into the ground. Maybe Griffin is floating around above us. Maybe he’s watching us.”

“Jesus, I hope not,” Blaine said. “If he saw what I just did to some reliever in the bathroom…”

“We wait,” Miller bellowed over Blaine. “We fucking wait. Jerry is trying to be mentally strong. We’re stronger. The second he is officially broken, that’s when we strike.”

Silence moved through the entire room. Miller could see it in their eyes. They all fucking knew about Ella and Beck being in the clubhouse. They were probably all gossiping about it like a bunch of teenage girls.

“Yeah, I took in his wife and kid,” Miller said. “Anyone have a problem with that?”

Gaige waved his hand. Landon and Erik did the same.

  “Sorry,” Erik said. “It’s just…”

“I appreciate the honesty. I won’t punish you for being true. But nobody here understands the situation. And I’m asking you as my brothers and commanding you as the President of this MC that you all respect her and make sure she’s safe. Jerry is an unstable man. And he’ll kill her. And the kid. I don’t need that shit on my conscience. Bad enough I’ve had to bury a brother.”

Landon lowered his hand. “Any chance she knows something we don’t?”

“No,” Miller said. “Jerry had met with Coast Road in his house a few times. And the judge had been there. But not lately.”

  Everyone had a good chuckle.

“We need to play this carefully,” Miller said. “And I think it’s time we talk about the seat.”

  “Griffin’s” Gaige asked.

Miller nodded. “I know, it’s too goddamn early for that. I get it. Respectfully, for Griffin, that seat should stay empty for a while. But look at what we’re dealing with. The table has to be whole. We need eyes, arms, bodies, muscle. We need to be ready for everything that can go right and everything that will go wrong. That chair needs to be filled.”

Slowly, Miller walked around the table to the empty chair. He put his hands to it and pulled it away from the table. No way in hell he’d sit there though. Neither would any of the other guys. Just a little dumb superstition. Hell, to get someone to sit there would be a chore in itself.

“I can’t allow anyone to object,” Miller said.

“He’s right,” Gaige said. The VP stood tall. “Leaving that seat empty is a reminder. And Jerry knows that. Coast Road knows that. That’s our weak spot. We fill that chair with a nasty motherfucker, the game will change.”

“So we vote in someone new,” Blaine said. “Take a ballot?”

  Everyone started to nod.

“No,” Miller said, shutting the table up.

The normal way to do this would be for everyone to sit and think. For everyone to write down a name or two. Then they’d put it into a hat or box or something. Miller would then take out the names and read them. The table would vote whether they liked it or not. Then they’d see how many times a name was repeated. Sometimes it could take weeks to figure it out. Bringing someone to table was a big deal. There were a lot of guys wearing the Back Down Devil MC cut out there that had never seen the conference room and never would. This place was sacred. This place commanded a level of respect that only a handful of people could understand and handle.

“No,” Miller said again. He pushed the chair in. “I’m going to make the call on this one.”

The room was silent again. The tension in the room grew by the second, by the breath.

“Can we ask why?” Shay asked. “That’s a heavy burden to bear.”

“No burden,” Miller said. “I have the name already.”

“Jesus H. Christ,” Shay said. “What’d you do? Look at Griffin bleeding out and pick the next guy?”

Miller looked right at Shay and curled his lip. “What if I said that’s exactly what I did?”

“Aye,” Shay said. “That’s not right.”

“That’s not what I did,” Miller said. “But I’m telling you right now, I’ve made the decision. We don’t have time to waste. There’s only one right choice for this seat. And it won’t be permanent.”

“Holy shit,” Blaine said. “You want to do a fill in?”

  “Yeah,” Miller said.

“That’s crazy,” Gaige said. “Bring someone in on this shit? Give them a cut with a patch and
then send them packing when the smoke clears?”

“There’s no other way to do it,” Miller said.

“There’s not many out there that would do it,” Landon said. “Not like this. They’d fill in for the chance to be voted in for good. Are we going to vote at the end?”

“What end?” Nate asked. “Wrap your head around it. We’re going to kill Jerry. That’s going to shake the entire town to its core. We’re going to have so much heat on us for a long fucking time.”

“Nobody would come in for that,” Erik said.

“Unless we pay them,” Gaige said. “I mean, throw some serious cash and maybe give them a chance to patch in somewhere else. I don’t know.”

Miller listened to the words and thought about Ella. Wondering if she was sleeping. Hell, wondering if she was still in his bed topless. Fuck. Topless.

The words started to get louder. Four conversations happening at once. As though this was an actual meeting with opinions, votes, the hammering thud of a gavel to end it all.

Miller took out his gun and pointed it at the back wall. He pulled the trigger and that took care of all the conversations. Miller kept his arm out, the gun in his hand.

“Are we fucking done?” he asked.

“Don’t slip, brother,” Shay said. “Don’t let this shit get into your head.”

“Nothing is,” Miller said. “I know who will fill this fucking seat. He will represent the patch, the cut, the club. He will give his life for this war because he understands what’s at stake. If you don’t like it and you don’t respect it, put your cut on the table and take a ride. Go disappear while we fight this thing out.”

“It’s all good,” Gaige said. “Put the fucking gun down for starters, Miller.”

Miller lowered his arm and tucked the gun away. “Everyone get out of here.”

The room broke up, except Blaine. He finished his smoke and stood there, staring at Miller.

“What? You have something else you’d like to add to this?”

“No,” Blaine said. “You’re the President. I’d die to save you. And you want me to die to save that woman? I’m in. I love you, Miller. I love this club.”

“I appreciate you taking over what needed to be done.”

“Not a problem. It was a pleasure to cut that fucker up.”
