The Thousand Years War: The Trilogy

Luis is still down, but gets up. The spirit of his grandmother shows up, but also the spirit of Angel.
“No way grandma and Angel? What are you two doing here, am I going crazy?” Luis is in disbelief in what he sees.
The influence of both spirits enters Luis’s body and he is able to fight against Krull like he was a normal human being. Luis would get superhuman strength and eventually beats Krull to a pulse until he hits the floor. Krull lands on his back and Luis shoots a coconut into his mouth. After a few seconds his mouth explodes and all of the blue goo splatters all over the room.
Luis goes to check on Marlon, but seeing the blood on his head and the fact he is unresponsive give Luis the indication Marlon is dead. Luis sheds a tear, until the Elder God shows up.
“Luis my tough cookie little do you know, but you are a medium as well.”
“No way, I don’t believe in that kind of stuff!” Luis replies.
“However yet you do on the inside, you don’t just see your grandmother out of nowhere. I understand this maybe new to you and you will need time to hone your skills as a medium. Let me tell you a secret, Dayvon is a medium as well he just doesn’t admit to it or know it yet. This is your greatest strength and possibly your greatest weapon you have to defeat this evil. That is because pure love will always defeat pure evil no matter what. As for Marlon he was noble in his deeds and when you succeed he will be rewarded. Now get out of here, the clock is ticking you have only 6 days left. Chances are as you go deeper you will lose contact with your Earth friend Quentin. I must go now, but I’ll tell you the next location for you is Pluto. The gloobas have built up there and have a major base located there. Good Luck.” The Elder God gives Luis a lecture of the current situation and his medium ability.
Luis walks back to his ship and looks at the pile of dead Kongs on the floor. The scene is almost desolate as he walks back to his ship. Just as he tried to warn Krull before that the gloobas would turn on his kind, his theory came true. Not a single glooba is seen, Luis is suspicious that the gloobas will try to attack from Pluto to conquer Kong.
Luis heads into his ship and takes off seeing Pluto up ahead. He uses his rocket boosters and proceeds to Pluto as ordered by the Elder God.
Chapter 13
Koopia
While Luis is catching up with his inherited skills of a medium, Angel and Maria are thrown into a planet that is mostly composed of water with a large island in the shape of turtle shell in the middle. The two try to turn around, but they are captured by a Koopia attack ship mistaking them for an enemy ship. They are captured with a nest that disables their ship completely. All of a sudden the two are surrounded by Troopias and are taken to an interrogation room where they are questioned.
“Who are you and what are your intentions are in our world?” A Troopia with a purple turtle shell asks the couple.
The Troopias were last seen in Fortuna where they gave the heroes trouble. Unlike those Troopias who were influenced by the gloobas, the Troopias are a peaceful extraterrestrial race who keeps to themselves. Unlike the Kongs, the Troopias prefer peace and the beach life. However the Kongs have declared war on them and the two planets have been in war since then. The Troopia shells vary in color such as green, red, blue and purple. Green indicates low ranking Troopias, red indicates middle ranking Troopias, blue indicates a high ranking Troopia such as a colonel and purple indicates a general.
“We don’t mean any harm here. In fact we are trying to save you guys. You see your race is in danger!” Angel says nervously and quickly like he needed to get his words in before he would get cut off.
“You mean you have information of our enemies the Kong race?” The Troopia asks Angel.
“Kong, what is a Kong?” Maria asks the Troopia in a puzzled tone.
“Boys search them and make sure they’re not lying!” The Troopia orders his comrades to do a cavity search on the couple to make sure that the two were telling the truth.
“Hey man what’s the big idea touching my junk?” Angel asks angrily.
“Yeah you better have a good reason for doing this. I could call for sexual assault!” Maria screams out.
“Ah Maria I think you forget we’re not on Earth anymore. These creatures can care less about “women’s rights” or human rights for all we know.” Angel whispers to Maria.
“Relax just wanted to make sure you were telling the truth. Telling by your ships you were not heading here on purpose and you are indeed blind to our enemies the Kongs. So we’ll let you go, but don’t dare go to Kong…” The General Troopia was says before Angel cuts him off.
“Don’t mean to cut you off General, but your people are in danger as much as ours are in danger. I don’t know if you are aware, but the gloobas had kidnapped several of your kind and infected them. To make the long story short they forced these Troopias to serve them. I saw some of your kind in Fortuna fighting for the gloobas.” Angel tells the general.
“It can’t be we haven’t even seen their faces here, are you saying some of our people have turned their backs on us?” The general asks in great curiosity.
“I’m afraid so, if what you are saying is true. Also I got a funny feeling these aliens are ready to attack you guys very soon. I know it’s hard for you to believe, but the truth needs to be told.” Angel answers the general’s question.
“General come take a look here, that human is right! The gloobas have landed here and they are dropping off…” A middle rank red shelled Troopia says to the general.
It’s what the gloobas are dropping off that has the Troopias in shock. The Troopias have spikes on their backs and their shells are royal blue. These are known as the Spiny Troopias. This was only known as a legend in the lands of Koopia as a long lost sub-species that were extinct years ago.
“It can’t be... Spiny’s! I always grew up knowing them only as a legend, I didn’t think they existed.” The general looks in shock as he sees what he thought was a myth, was actually true.
“Crap looks like the gloobas have really enhanced their Troopia series of creatures.” Maria says in disbelief.
“Well nothing surprises me anymore, let's go save some turtle hide now that we’re here!” Angel responds.
“You mean kick some butt because we have no choice as we can’t get out of here unless we do!” Maria gives Angel a more truthful answer.
“Ok Mrs. Negative I see that, but come on show some spunk girl!” Angel replies to Maria.
The gloobas continue their efforts by sending down salamander troopers and iguana enforcers along with the Spinys. The Troopias are able take out the initial wave of gloobas using catapults shooting out exploding pineapples. Other catapults would contain green Troopias that would give their lives up to be suicide bombers to take down the ships.
Angel and Maria would help out in the cause by killing some of the gloobas that landed on the island. While the front line of the gloobas held strong at first, but the genetically engineered spiny Troopias come spinning in violently from the water and take out the front line like bowling pins. The Troopias that survive the initial attack look at the spiny Troopias in pure fear, the creatures are three times their size and three times as aggressive. The surviving Troopias don’t even bother to put up a fight and instead run away as fast as they can.
“What is wrong with your guys, why are they running away?” Angel asks the general Troopia as he watched the Troopias rout.
“Simply because many of our men aren’t trained properly for times of war and we never thought these subspecies ever existed. I’ll try to get our better men in the battle!” The general explains to Angel as he frantically goes to get the elite soldiers of Koopia.
The elite soldiers of Koopia head into battle with their blue and purple shells proudly showing their ranks. Then along with Angel and Maria take on the spiny Troopias. Unlike regular Troopias the spiny Troopias could spit out a fire breath attack to the surprise of the natives.
“Oh no! They breathe out fire as
well? Now I know the legend has come true, we are doomed!” The general says hysterically.
“The legend isn’t true come on now! The only thing that’s happened is that the gloobas made these creatures from your kidnapped people to try and scare you. These guys are beatable, you aren’t doomed. Aim for their heads!” Angel convinces the general Troopia that there is no legend and it’s the gloobas playing the fear card.
The Troopia soldiers that had the stomach to fight still took care of the salamander troopers and iguana enforcers. The catapults armed with exploding pineapples are still being used to clear the area.
Meanwhile Angel, Maria and the Troopia general stared at the spiny Troopias. The Spiny’s began to attack with their fire breath, forcing the three to jump back to avoid the attack. Some of the Spiny’s came after the three, others would get back in their shells and start to destroy the homes of the natives.
The houses of Koopia are made of a special stone known as Koopia Limestone which is native to only the planet of Koopia. The stone makes the homes in Koopia waterproof since there is much water on the planet and storms are rather common during a winter season on the planet. Even as strong as the material is, it can’t withstand the force of the Spiny’s rolling attack. The Troopia general can’t believe the destruction that is occurring in front of him.
“Maria jump! Turtle dude, shoot the bastard in the head!” Angel screams as orders the other two.
When the Spiny is killed, the three of them kill the other Spiny’s with some difficulty. One of the Spiny Troopias nearly hits Maria with its claw. The general leads Maria and Angel away from the battlezone towards the center of the island.
“Come on my human friends we need to cut them off at the center of our planet!” The general tells the two.
“Why? Look at all this destruction that is taking place around you or this is what you want for your future?” Maria puzzled asks the general.
“No you do not understand the gloobas are going for the core of our planet because we have a cave that contains a rare gem. In fact this gem is our pride and joy, it’s what keeps us protected and more importantly it pleases our legendary king himself. If these bad people get that gem we are done for.” The Troopia general elaborates on the reason for heading to the center. The three sprint towards the center of the island.
“If you don’t… mind me… asking… what is the… gem made up… of?” Angel asks the general while trying to catch his breath.
The general doesn’t answer the question right away. He prefers to explain when they get to the center. On their journey to the center they encounter glooba salamander troopers and iguana enforcers that managed to make it through the front line. The aliens are killed rather easily. However what shows up afterwards is even more intimidating. Several frogs come up from the ground, but they are fused with turtle shells, which surprised even the Troopia general.
“What the heck… is that? I know frogs live here, but fused with our kind?” The general says puzzled.
The frogs are naturally called Koopia Frogs. They normally hang around close to the center of Koopia, due to its wet, humid nature and there are a large amount of trees in the area. However the frogs are naturally harmless and usually stay in their area. In this case with their mutation with the Troopia race the frogs are much more hostile. The frogs begin to spit poison at the three of them. Luckily everyone is able to dodge out of the way.
The frogs begin to jump like crazy around the area and one jumps on top of the general head on. Angel is able to kill the frogs easily as their shells are not as strong as those of the Troopia race. The events that have taken place give Angel and Maria the idea that the gloobas have already made their influence from under the Troopia’s nose. They attend to the general and they see his shell is cracked. Blood begins to pour from the shell and the two look desperately for a way to cure the general.
“Look leave me here, there’s no helping me… I get the feeling that we have been betrayed by a traitor… I don’t know who, but these creatures are strange, too strange. I just need you two to… get to the center and make sure they do not desecrate our sacred… ground…” The general passes away on top of Angel’s arm, its bad enough that Angel has a love for turtles, but he has just witnessed one pass away.
“Look Angel I know it’s tough, but we gotta be stronger than they are. They want us to be weak, so they can tear us apart easier. This is all a mind game, I know I sound rough, but we have to stay strong the gloobas feed off our negative energy. Now come on my husband you’re stronger than that, pick yourself up!” Maria trying to pick Angel pick after seeing him get emotional.
“You’re right honey, time to wipe my tears away and kick some alien butt! Enough said!” Angel wipes his tears up as he reloads his devastator with missiles. “You ready honey?”
“Now that’s the Angel I want to see!” Maria says preparing her shrink ray and backup machine gun with ammo. “I hope the gloobas are ready for a one way trip back to their stinkhole of a planet.
The skies go from a bright blue to a gray color and then eventually a much darker gray color. The two of them begin to hear thunder and the water began to pick up in current. A storm is approaching the two and the gloobas are breaking through the Troopia’s defense. Can Angel and Maria save Koopia or a better question can they save their own hides?
Chapter 14
Sahara
With Angel and Maria with their issues at Koopia and Luis heading towards Pluto, that leaves Dayvon out of the picture. He was hit by a wave of lava all the way back in Venus. As a result his ship was pushed towards the desert planet of Sahara, in which little to nothing was known about the planet. To add to the problems for Dayvon he was still unconscious from the heat stroke he suffered back in Venus. Dayvon’s ship begins to make a crash landing towards Sahara, would he survive the ride?
Dayvon’s ship begins to head to towards the barren surface of the planet of Sahara, which is indeed nothing but sand. Actually it does contain some life such as huge cactuses, larger than normal diamondback snakes and desert spiders that are 7 to 8 feet tall. The hallmark of Sahara is the dry nature of the planet, which rarely receives a tenth of an inch of rain all year round. To add to that is storms that bring nothing but strong winds that cause epic dust storms.
The ship lands hard on it’s bottom onto the sand, Dayvon is still lying unconscious in the ship. For about 5 minutes the only thing moving was the sand and the clouds surrounded by the dark orange sky. It indeed feels like no man’s sky, of how desolate the planet of Sahara is. To make matters even worse Dayvon is unlucky enough to land next to a glooba base, one of the few on the planet.
Sensing the crashed ship, a few gloobas walk towards the ship to see what it is. They go in slowly just in case they sense any movement. Once they see the coast is clear, they rush inside the ship hoping to catch a human. Only thing is that Dayvon isn’t in the cockpit lying on the floor. The scorpion crawlers assume that it’s a lost human ship that got lost in space and they begin to walk out of the ship. Dayvon who is actually awake sneaks up on the creatures and slashes off their heads one by one. After killing off the creatures Dayvon kneels down trying to regain his equilibrium after the heat stroke he suffered back in Venus.
Despite the dry nature of the planet, the temperature on Sahara is much lower. The temperature rating comes in as 95 to 100 degrees rather than the extreme rating of 1,800 degrees on Venus. So Dayvon’s body temperature gets a reprieve as the suit will control the temperature he senses. He spots the glooba base ahead of him and he takes out the scorpion crawlers from a safe distance using a sniper rifle he stole from one of the scorpions he killed back at the ship.
Dayvon looks at the ship and recognizes that it has taken too much damage to fly properly.
“Son of a bitch, this ship is beyond repair. That means I’m stuck on this forsaken planet forever.” Dayvon says angry and depressed that he is stuck.
“Hey Dayvon stop feeling sorry for yourself and listen! T
here is way out of this planet. There is a glooba airbase where they have been creating counterfeits of my ship design. Just get there and grab a spaceship.” Quentin says as he is able to get through to Dayvon.
“Easy for you to say, how I’m supposed to just get a ship? These aliens aren’t going to just let me “steal” one!” Dayvon says in sarcasm.
“Well you can start in looking in their base you are by and stop complaining so much! Be grateful that you’re still alive, you could’ve died from that heat stroke.” Quentin replies a bit angry by Dayvon’s response.
Dayvon decides to stay silent and take Quentin’s advice by entering the glooba base that was ahead of him. He enters the base and whacks the few gloobas that are inside the base. What he sees inside is a glooba tank, just like what he saw in Jupiter. He sees it’s unmanned and decides in his head that this would be the way he would get around the Saharan lands. The airbase is all the way on the opposite side of his location.
“Nice tank lets see how this puppy works. Whoa this is even nicer than stealing a regular tank!” Dayvon marvels in the tanks controls. The tank contains hyperlasers as its primary weapon and homing explosive shells as a secondary weapon, although in limited quantity.
Dayvon starts the tank up and begins to move it out of the base towards the outside world. The alarm goes off indicating that there is a foreigner and Dayvon is quickly discovered. He begins to drive the tank through the land taking out turrets and weaker ships who try to intercept him with no success. Dayvon continues to move along and take out the glooba ships that were floating around dropping bombs or shooting in his direction. Dayvon does a “barrel roll” on the tank to make it spin on its side and back when he’s being shot.
