Surviving Faith (The JackholeS, #2)

My fingers dug into his back, pushing him into me. My hands moved through his hair as he explored my body with his tongue. I felt frantic as I bit his shoulders, overcome with the feel of him. The pressure of my teeth seemed to push his control over the edge. His teeth scraped over my nipple as he rocked his hips faster into me.

My heels pressed into the bed as I pushed up, meeting his thrusts. I was lost in the sensations as he pounded into me. The slapping sound of our skin echoed throughout the room. Our hands and lips roamed everywhere, the need to feel everything pulsing through me.

Kill's pelvis hit my clit as he drove into me, our wild coupling hurtling me toward another climax. His teeth bit into my neck, the slight pain hurtling me over the edge. My legs clamped around his waist, holding onto him tightly as my orgasm burst through me. He pumped faster, prolonging my release until my muscles went limp from the sensation. I watched as his face strained as he neared his release. He came, grunting my name as he buried his face in my hair.

Kill's body slumped over me. Both of us had a sheen of sweat layering our panting bodies. Rolling to his side, he took me with him. I threw my leg over his hips, keeping us connected.

“Holy fuck, I think I just blew the tip of my dick off.” His eyes were closed, and there were beads of sweat on his forehead. I laughed, and he groaned as my muscles clenched around him.

“Damn, I was hoping to do it again,” I answered with a fake pout.

His eyes sprung open. They were primal. I was surprised when I felt him thickening inside of me. He rolled over and pushed into me slowly. We continued to discover each other as he thrust in and out of me. Even though it wasn’t as hurried, and the pressure didn’t build as fast, it still had my body shaking from the impact.

We fell asleep tangled together, exhausted. For the first time since I had known Kill, he was still there when I woke up.

“This is new.” I snuggled into the crook of his neck.

  “Are you complaining?”

I shook my head, afraid of what I might admit if I opened my mouth.

“Good. You’d better get used to it.”

My heart fluttered, while my brain advised me to simply enjoy what I had for now and not expect anything more. I told them both to shut the hell up and soaked up the warmth of having Kill next to me, but my stomach decided it wanted to make its existence known and growled loudly.

  “Hungry, Slick?” he chuckled.

“I am. Someone made me do a rigorous activity I haven’t done in a long time, and now they need to repay me by feeding me.”

He propped up on his elbow. His eyes shone with mischief. “You weren’t complaining when I was inside of you.”

He sucked lightly at my neck, and my hunger for food was all but forgotten as his fingers tweaked my nipples. Just when I was about to give in, he stood. His erection bounced as he picked up his discarded clothes.

I scowled at his back, even though the sight of his naked ass was something even angels would lust over. As he pulled on his jeans, he turned and took note of my scowl. His half smile appeared as he buttoned his jeans.

“Come on. I have to feed you, so I can have my wicked way with you again.”

  “Fine,” I grumbled.

  Chapter 15

I whipped the covers off and made a dramatic show of moving toward my clothes. The weight of his eyes seared into me. Normally, I wouldn’t have been so confident walking around naked in front of a guy. Jason had made damned sure I didn’t have a shred of confidence left when I’d fled his clutches.

Low self-esteem be damned. I wanted to show Kill what he was missing. He crashed into me and held me so my ass was locked on his bulging jeans.

“Never mind; get your ass back in bed. Or better yet, just stay right there.” His hand reached between us to unbutton his pants, but I yanked my jeans and panties up before he could release little Kill.

“Hey, I was going to play with that,” he whined.

I laughed as I searched for my bra. He’d tossed it farther then I thought he had. As I snapped it in place, he was the one with the pouty face.

“Sorry, Killer. I'm hungry, and you promised to feed me.”

"I've got something to feed you."

A very unladylike snort shot out of me. The soreness I felt between my legs made me shiver as my muscles clenched from the memory of him filling me. It had been awhile since I’d used those muscles, and they were making me aware of the strain I just put them in.

He must have noticed me grimacing, as his face became concerned. “Did I hurt you?” He wrapped me in his arms and kissed my forehead.

“No, you didn’t hurt me. I'm just a little sore; that’s all.”

A look of pure male satisfaction covered his face.

“Don’t get too macho there, Killer. It's been a long time for me. Little Kill didn’t have to do much to make me this way.” I tried to force myself to keep a straight face, but my smile gave me away.

“Oh yeah?” Lightning fast, he threw me on the bed. A squeal ripped from my lips as he jumped on top of me. When he started tickling me, I surrendered quickly.

“Okay, Okay, I was kidding! You're huge, enormous. You annihilated me.” I huffed out between laughs.

He stopped tickling me and leaned in to kiss me. “That’s better. Now, come on; let’s feed you so I can do dirty things to you later.”

I giggled and kissed him back before taking his hand and letting him lead me out of the room. I stopped him before he opened the door.

“What if everyone's down there?” I asked.

“I don’t care if the whole fucking world is down there. Do you?” His eyes went tight, and the tick in his jaw started. The uncertainty in his statement had laid my whole heart in his hands. I vowed that when he was done with it, I would never use it again.

“Nope. It's weird; that’s all. I have to get used to this, and you know Jet is going to have a field day,” I answered, gesturing to our entwined hands.

His dimples plunged into his cheeks as he smiled. “I'll protect you from Jet. The sooner we get it over with, the better. He will be worse if we give him more time to think.”

Before I went downstairs, I rushed into the bathroom to freshen up. My hair had that just-fucked look to it, and my lips were swollen from our frantic kisses.

My fingers rose to my lips, and I smirked behind them. Great sex is hard to erase from your face, I thought before brushing my hair and teeth quickly. Kill leaned on the wall outside the bathroom, waiting for me to emerge. He held out his hand, and I took it, not caring that I sported a big goofy smile.

Nobody was home or at least downstairs, and I thought a silent thank you. I wasn't ready to face anyone, especially anyone who’d cautioned me against Kill. I wanted to stay in our happy bubble for as long as I could. Deep down, I’d known this would happen eventually, no matter how many times I’d been warned it was a bad idea.

Kill insisted on making me dinner. I had to swallow my laughter as he cooked his “gourmet” meal of grilled cheese and Diet Pepsi, swatting me on the ass as we walked into the living room with our food.

We snuggled up on the couch after we gorged ourselves and watched TV. I leaned against his shoulder, content. Kill kept kissing my head and touching me, and I was doing the same, trying to convince myself this was really happening.

Van and Jessie came back to the house first, popping our solitary bubble. Kill latched onto me and kept me where I was when he felt me begin to rise. The grilled cheese I’d just finished was now in a battle to the death with the boulder. For a moment, I was pretty sure I’d vomit all over Kill. I refused to feel bad if I did; it would be his own fault if he ended up wearing his gourmet meal. Van and Jessie froze when they noticed us.

“So is this official, or are you two going to keep pretending?” Van asked, pulling Jessie close to him and kissing her cheek.

“Van, leave them alone. Don't pressure them,” Jessie replied, but Kill stopped her before she could launch into one of her lectu
res.

“We're official. No more pretending. Right, Slick?”

Van smiled widely as he reached out to give Kill a high five. Jessie unsuccessfully tried to hide her scowl. Even with my inner voice telling me to be cautious, I couldn’t keep from getting sucked into Kill's happiness at finally being able to claim our relationship.

“Yep, we're official. He's off the market; no more skanks need apply.”

Kill let out a loud belly laugh and kissed me quickly on the mouth. “Never again. Only you.”

The sincerity in his voice was unmistakable. For a split second, I allowed myself to hope this would work, but then my brain brought me back to reality before I could get too carried away.

“I know I already said it, but about fucking time,” Van replied before walking over to the recliner and bringing Jessie down onto his lap. “What are we watching?"

And just like that, we’d formally announced our relationship.

Jet and Amy were the next to come through the door. This time, I didn’t try and pull away.

Jet let out a huge whoop. He almost dropped Amy on her ass, since she was riding piggyback. Amy wiggled her eyebrows at me, and I tried not to smile.

“Did you finally lay some pipe on her, Kill?” Jet asked, making me blush bright red.

“Shit, Jet. Shut up,” Kill said. His voice wasn’t very stern. In fact, he seemed to be having a hard time keeping the smile off his face.

“What? I was just asking if you two were getting it on. I mean, we saw you trying to swallow each other on the kitchen counter earlier. I just wanted to know if you sealed the deal, and by seal the deal I mean...”

“Stop,” I cried out before he could elaborate. “We're together. That's all you're getting out of us tonight.”

“Oh no. You'll so be giving me details,” Amy said from her perch on Jet’s back.

“Not tonight.” My voice had a whiny quality to it, but I didn’t care as long as I got my way. I didn’t mind playing dirty.

“Later,” she said pointing at her eyes, and then at mine.

“Want to watch TV with us?” I asked, trying to change the subject while I was still ahead.

“Fuck no. I have this beautiful piece of candy I want to taste,” Jet answered.

Amy leaned over and kissed the side of his mouth.

“Too much information,” Jessie groaned as they started making out.

“Whatever. You know you’re jealous," Jet replied around Amy's tongue.

"I had to watch this hot piece of man teach a nine-year-old how to play a guitar for an hour without touching him. Do you know how sexy a patient man is? I've always had a thing for teachers," Amy said, her eyes clouding with lust.

"Later, losers,” Jets said as they headed upstairs to his room.

Kill leaned over and whispered into my ear, “I want to taste you later tonight.”

I shivered at the desire lacing his voice. “Only if I get to taste also.”

His hand snaked under my shirt and stroked my stomach, making my body ignite in need. I was ready to be alone with him. He didn’t take his eyes off of the TV as his hand stroked higher, brushing the skin right under my bra.

My breasts tightened from the attention they were almost receiving. My core burned with need, forgetting the soreness left behind from earlier. The front door slammed closed, and I jumped up, dislodging Kill’s hand. He placed it back under my shirt and started running his fingers back and forth over the material of my bra.

D walked through the door to see Kill’s hand still under my shirt. His fingers branded my skin, and I was sure I looked flushed from the desire Kill had been stoking.

D glared at us, but remained silent. His eyes bounced back and forth between us. None of us broke the silence. D’s face contorted in disgust, and he shook his head as he turned and stormed up the stairs without uttering a word.

“Don’t worry about him. He'll learn how to accept change. He needs to realize that not every relationship ends badly,” Van said.

“I know. I just need to talk to him about my feelings. Explain to him this isn't going to go away. He's just going through a rough patch right now,” Kill replied. His voice sounded weary.

“I’m ready for bed,” I announced. Figuring that would get Kill’s mind off of everything, leaving him focused on me. Kill jumped up, nearly knocking me to the floor.

“Night,” he said, tossing me over his shoulder. He ran upstairs before Van and Jessie had a chance to say goodnight back.

Kill drove me to school. We weren't ready to separate, wanting to milk all the time we could get together. As I walked away, a couple of girls stopped and crowded around the passenger-side window he’d been talking to me through. I glanced over my shoulder to find out why he’d stopped speaking. My eyes were assaulted with the sight of two asses in skin-tight jeans about to burst as they leaned into the open window.

I waited to see what would happen, wondering if the honeymoon was over. Their shoulders slouched at whatever he said to them, and they both slowly slunk away. They glanced over every couple of steps, most likely to see if he’d changed his mind.

I cocked my head as Kill put his car in park and stepped out, covering the space between us in long confident strides. He snagged me by the waist and kissed me. I stared up at him as he held me in his arms.

  “What was that for?”

His eyes were hidden behind his sunglasses, but I was pretty sure they were sparkling. “Just wanted to make sure you remembered you're mine.”

I braced myself, waiting for my spine to stiffen with panic at his statement. It was reminiscent of what Jason had said to me, but the fear never came. I kissed him on the lips and rested my forehead on his.

“What about you? I wasn’t even ten steps away before you were hounded by your groupies.”

  “Them? They are...nothing.”

My fingers itched to pull his glasses off. I wanted to see his eyes so I could tell whether he was telling the truth or not. “What did you say to them?” I asked.

I probably didn’t want to know, and I reminded myself what happened to the cat and its constant state of curiosity.

“I explained to them I was talking to my girlfriend but would give them an autograph if they came to see us sing this weekend. But I assured them that's all I’ll be doing.”

I framed his face with my hands before pulling him down for a soulful kiss. The embarrassment at my initial reaction was battling with the giddiness now consuming me.

“Now, get to class, Slick. I think you're already going to be late. I'll be here when you get out.” He kissed my nose before letting me go, and then smacked me on the ass as I moved away. “Hustle.”

I threw a saucy look over my shoulder–at least I hoped it was saucy-before running off to class. I tried to keep my face from splitting in two all day. Every time I wiped the smile away, it came creeping back, so I finally stopped fighting it long before class was over.

As soon as the professor released us, I ran out of the classroom, without a care. I'd never had the freedom to just enjoy a relationship before, and I planned to start now.

Kill reclined against the hood of his car. He pushed off when he saw me and started toward me. I ended up sprinting across the wide expanse of the campus. When I reached him I wrapped my legs around him and kissed the hell out of him not caring who watched.

“Miss me?” he asked when I finally released his lips.

  “Yep.”

I tried to untangle my legs, but he grabbed at them, refusing to let me down. “Well, next time, I guess I'm going to have to give you a better goodbye kiss.”

  “Sounds good to me.”

Kill carried me toward his car, Trent moved into my line of sight as Kill continued to walk. Trent seemed aware of my gaze, even though it was hidden behind my sunglasses. His whole body stiffened and he shook his head before stalking away.

I held onto the anger his disapproving look built inside of me. I’d always done the right thing by getting
good grades, never being late for work, but Kill-this relationship—was going to be mine. Nobody was going to destroy this for me. Except for me, that is.

When we got home, Kill disappeared into the garage to work on a new song with the boys while I started my homework.

Later, I was in the kitchen making dinner when he came over and kissed the back of my neck, making me shiver at his touch. “Something smells good,” he said in my ear, licking the outer ridge.

“I’m making chicken alfredo.” My answer was breathless, and I found myself leaning into him.

“That’s not what I'm talking about.”

I was seconds away from becoming a puddle on the floor if he didn’t stop whispering in my ear and rubbing his hands over my belly under my shirt.

“Not on the food,” Jet screamed dramatically, snatching the food off the counter so we didn’t contaminate it with our display of affection.

Kill kissed me on the back of the neck, once more before moving away. My body missed his heat as soon as it was lost. A thought hit me as I held myself to bring back a little warmth. I didn’t have to stay away from Kill any longer. He was mine, and we no longer had to pretend we weren't together.

Feeling free, I put my arms around his waist, leaning into his side. My face sought his, wanting to see his reaction, since I was finally the one to initiate physical interaction in front of everyone else.

A look of wonder took over his hooded eyes. The buzzer went off on the microwave, alerting me the bread was ready. The last thing I was waiting for before dinner had finished.

Kill held onto me when he felt me move away. “Hey, Jet. Get that out of the oven for me, would you?” Before Jet could answer, Kill threw me over his shoulder and strode purposely out of the kitchen and toward the stairs. I shouted out instructions for dinner before I disappeared up the stairs and was tossed onto my bed. Kill followed shortly after, his lips crushing mine.
