This is a story about an elderly lady who resides in long-term care. As she spends a day with her granddaughter reminiscing, she reveals her life story. She talks about growing up in a bygone era. She speaks about all the changes she has witnessed during her lifetime, and tells how the Near North region of Ontario was developed and evolved during the course of a century. Then, she shares her feelings about life in long-term care. She states, “Life is different from the inside looking out.”
