Candace
by Maggie Wells
17-year-old high school senior Candace has everything figured out. She attends St. Paul's an exclusive prep school in Concord, New Hampshire, and is on her way to Princeton the next fall. However, when she falls for exchange student Danilo, her orderly life is changed forever. At the end of her senior year, Candace finds out she is pregnant and is forced to postpone college for a year. She decides to keep her baby without telling Danilo and moves back home and takes a job as a waitress. As her younger sister prepares to leave for college, Candace reflects on the twisting labyrinth of choices she had made.
